The Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS)is a points-based system that is used by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) to evaluate and score online profile (applications) of candidates, job seekers and immigration aspirants in the Express Entry pool. The profiles of candidates are assessed based on their education, skills or training, age, language proficiency, personal details, relevant work experience and other factors.

It allocates points score to candidates on the point-scale called Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS). It is sometimes called Express Entry score.

What is Express Entry Stream?

Started by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) in 2015, the Express Entry is a point-based immigration system that manages and facilitates online applications of skilled workers, immigrants, professionals and entrepreneurs under Federal Economic programs or immigration gateways.
